A remarkable comeback. A lifetime of memories. A story with Sheffield at its heart.
Starring Thomas Craig (Murdoch Mysteries), this funny, heartfelt new play by Jonathan Maitland premieres in Sheffield.
Inspired by Sheffield Wednesday’s extraordinary 2023 comeback and Craig’s own experiences, The Miracle of Sheffield brings together family, football and the fierce loyalties that connect generations. It is a story of mums and dads, fathers and sons, and the hope that keeps us believing when all seems lost.
Whether you live for match day or have never watched a game, this is a play about the people and places that make us who we are.
Written by Jonathan Maitland
